  • As you check each item of clothing, ask yourself the below questions

    • Is it clean?

    • Does it need repairing?

    • Does it look old?

    • Do I have clothes to wear with it?

    • Have I worn it in the last few years?

    • Does it fit properly?

  • Put all the clothes you want to donate and sell into a bag and get out of your room or wardrobe?

  • Put all your favourite and key pieces away after cleaning and checking them.

  • Now, look at the pieces you are unsure about. If you have tried to wear the item a number of times but never do, it might be time to say goodbye

  • After a spring clean is a great time to work different ways of wearing your favourite items. My favourite Victoria Beckham dress has sadly been to too many wedding so I have created new outfits for a more casual occasion when we get out of lockdown.

  • Carefully pack everything for the dry cleaner and seamstress.

  • As you go through your wardrobe make sure you have a few outfits for all occasions.

    • work meetings

    • weddings

    • funerals

    • cocktail parties

    • dances

    • black tie

    • lunches

    • running errands
